About Us
What We Do
Our objective is to provide the very best merchandise assortment and value within a clean, well-lit and comfortable thrift store environment. All “turn A leaf” thrift stores are highly organized and professionally staffed and managed. 100% of the merchandise donated to “turn A leaf” thrift stores comes from individuals & businesses in the Mat-Su Valley. All items are carefully inspected so that only quality merchandise is displayed for sale. Everything in our stores is priced to sell at a bargain. The net proceeds from these sales stay in the Mat-Su Valley to support individuals, families and organizations. These funds fill gaps, which traditional funding sources do not handle.
How We Support! The Valley
All thrift store net proceeds stay in the Mat-Su Valley and are used to build a foundation that will provide financial assistance to organizations working with people with disabilities and, to individuals and families with specific medical needs. Additionally, money raised through the “turn A leaf” thrift stores helps buy walkers, wheel chairs, canes, crutches, commodes, and other items for the Medical Equipment Lending Program. The lending program makes medical equipment available, at no cost, for short-term use (up to one year) by anyone in the Mat-Su Valley.
