As a local charitable non-profit thrift store of Valley Charities, lnc., turn-A-leaf collects quality gently used clothing and goods, and offers them back to the community at affordable prices. We stand out from other thrift stores by offering merchandise vouchers and medical equipment loans that connect valuable resources to qualifying Valley residents. All turn-A-leaf thrift store proceeds stay in the Valley to support our Mat-Su neighbors through programs and services.
This entry level Warehouse position will work in the warehouse, managing incoming and outgoing merchandise. Under the supervision of the warehouse manager, they will unload donations from customers, move the donated items to the correct processing location, and load and unload our truck. Prior warehouse experience a plus but we are happy to train the right person. Must be able to lift and move 4O+ pounds plus.
- Pull and process orders
- Stock items
- Maintain organized warehouse
- Loading and unloading furniture, household goods, etc.
- Provide exceptional customer service, promptly and courteously
- Solid work history that demonstrates reliability; warehouse work experience is preferred
- Ability to work well with a variety of people in a busy work environment
- Able to lift a minimum of 40+ pound
- Must have a history of being punctual, and reliable
- Must have a reliable method of travel to work
- Must have a clean driving record and a Valid Alaska Drive's License
