Our organization facilitates and makes available a variety of programs and services to our Mat-Su Valley residents.
Valley Charities, Inc.
We serve the Mat-Su Valley community by working together in partnership with agencies with the same mission(s) as ours. Valley Charities, Inc. (VCI) writes grants to keep important community programs/services available locally in the Mat-Su Valley.
VCI ensures that the Medical Equipment is stocked with the valuable inventory that services neighbors with our Medical Equipment Lending program. Valley Charities oversees all programs, services, and operations of the turn-A-leaf Thrift Store. The store collects locally donated quality gently used clothing and goods and offers them back to the community at affordable prices. We stand out from other thrift stores by offering valuable resources to qualifying Mat-Su Valley residents.
Valley Charities Endowment
The Valley Charities Endowment is focused on supporting Mat-Su Valley individuals and families with their health and wellness needs. For example, it could be helping pay for a doctor or dental bill. Or, maybe it would involve helping with an insurance premium or any other health or wellness situation.

We have expanded our positive social footprint in the Mat-Su Borough by helping low-income and homeless individuals and families improve their housing situations. Unfortunately, the Mat-Su Valley has several thousand families that are at risk of being homeless at any moment. Valley Charities, Inc. and our agency partners help prevent those situations from occurring through HUD and State Grant awards.
